Splunge Music can provide transcription services for working musicians or performance organizations.
Specific cases where the transcription service applies are:
Transcription services are $0.25 per notated measure for solo instruments, and $0.50 per notated measure for chordal instruments, vocal music, and any instrument or part requiring layering or with multiple lines on a single staff. The transcription will include only the notes and only the most necessary notational symbols or expression markings. Additional fees for time may apply if significant rearrangement is required in the transcription process.
This service is intended only for working musicians who already own legal copies of the music and merely need a special transcription for a specific performance of the piece. The cost is reduced by making the transcription “just the notes” with the musicians writing in articulations and other symbols or performance instructions during the rehearsal process and/or by using the original scores as reference.
